LIEAP

The Low Income Energy Assistance Program  (LIEAP), a federally funded program administered by the Montana Department of Human Services, is designed to assist eligible Montanans with their winter heating costs.

For qualified Montana individuals and families, cash assistance is available to help pay for winter heating costs. Other possible LIEAP benefits include repair or replacement of a home’s primary heating system (furnace), and improvements to the energy efficiency of a home.

LIEAP applications are accepted by any of the following agencies from November 1-April 30 of each year.
